Sarah Zientarski is an Emmy Award winner, Michigan Academy of Broadcasters Award winner, and D-Award winner, and she has been a dynamic force in the production industry since 2006. Currently, she serves as producer for Detroit PBS and D/CAL Agency and is the owner of ‘Nuff Said Productions, where she continues to push the boundaries of storytelling.
Zientarski has played a pivotal role in 15 seasons of Detroit PBS’ show “Detroit Performs,” which explores the vibrant arts and culture scene in metro Detroit. She is also a contributor on “One Detroit,” Her portfolio includes producing documentaries for REL Midwest, hype videos for the University of Detroit-Mercy basketball teams, content for the United Shore Professional Baseball League, and ad campaigns for Gibson Guitars, Wolverine Boots, Buddy’s Pizza and others.
In addition to these projects, Zientarski has worked on numerous local and national productions such as “Arab American Stories,” “Vital Signs,” “A World Without Cancer with Dr. Margaret Cuomo,” “Learning in the Wild,” and “STEM Heroes.”
She has also spearheaded impactful PSA campaigns for organizations like Detroit’s Early Learning Champions, the Michigan Fitness Foundation, the Michigan Lottery’s Partners in Education, and Detroit PBS’ Digital Adventure.
Her expertise extends to major sports networks, where she has worked with ESPN on College Football, the World Cup, horse racing, and coverage of the X Games, as well as with Fox Sports Detroit covering the Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons and college hockey. Additionally, she has served as a sports reporter for Detroit’s top sports radio station, 97.1 The Ticket and wrote for Michigan Hockey and Lacrosse Magazine.
She earned her degree in journalism and electronic media from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2007 where she was sports editor and reporter for the Michigan Journal.
