Spirit of Giving Awards / International Blues Challenge

On the next American Black Journal: A Detroit non-profit organization honors unsung heroes for their commitment to children, families and senior citizens. We’ll get details on the “Spirit of Giving” awards gala given by Franklin-Wright Settlements. Plus, we’ll talk with a couple of the honorees.

Also, legendary guitarist Billy Davis is preparing to represent Detroit at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January. Stephen talks with Davis and the co-author of his upcoming biography.
