“The Jackie Wilson Story” / Transition to Success

On the next American Black Journal: A new book tells the true life story of Detroit-born recording artist Jackie Wilson, as told through the eyes of his two adult children.  Wilson’s daughter and lead guitar player talk with Stephen about the legendary performer who was known around the world as “Mr. Excitement.” Plus, a special One Detroit/Detroit Journalism Cooperative report on an innovative program that is helping to reduce poverty in Michigan and across the country.
