Instances of hate crimes and anti-Asian sentiment are on the rise in the U.S., as repercussions of the coronavirus outbreak escalate. One Detroit’s Christy McDonald speaks with Roland Hwang, attorney and lecturer at University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, and Richard Mui, Board Chair of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans – Michigan Vote, to find out more about the ways this situation is manifesting and measures that are being taken.
