COVID313 Talk: Getting back to work

As the pandemic lifts more of us are headed back to work, on site.

In the latest COVID313 Community Coalition Virtual Town Hall for Families and Students, moderator Jametta Lilly talked to human resources consultant Tina Siebal about what employers and employees can expect in the post-COVID business world.

“A lot of the employers, especially the smaller ones might be somewhat out of compliance,” Siebal said, “but there are guidelines out there that should direct employers into how to create a safe place.”

She said there are federal rules that require employers to provide a comfortable environment for employees as they come back to work.

Hannah Ewing of the Detroit Health Department told the town hall the city will provide guidance on employers regarding vaccination status and wearing masks.
