A Detroit community coalition holds its first COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall

This week a coalition of Detroit area agencies came together to hold a town hall meeting via the internet update the status of public services and public schools.

A Detroit Community Town Hall: Coping During the Coronavirus Crisis included participation by Michigan State Superintendent Dr. Michael Rice, Detroit Public Schools Community District Superintendent Dr. Nikolai Vitti, Dr. Darienne Hudson of the United Way of Southeastern Michigan and Louis Piszker of the Wayne Metro Community Action Agency.

 The COVID313 Community Coalition for Families and Students is led in part by 482Forward.
